The Swift Gallery in Stoke-on-Trent, one of the leading motoring art galleries in the country, is to play host to the MGMW 2016 AGM, which will take place on Saturday, July 2.
Ian Donaldson, MGMW chairman, said: “The committee are extremely grateful to long standing MGMW member John Swift and his brother Andrew who have moved their 2016 opening event in order to accommodate us.
“I cannot think of a more appropriate venue for our AGM and I hope that as many as possible will attend our main business meeting of the year where all members can get together.”
Members will gather for the AGM from 11.00 with the meeting scheduled to start at 11.30. A light lunch will be served and there will be plenty of time to enjoy the gallery itself after the meeting closes. Members will be able to discuss points arising from committee reports and will also be electing committee officials for 2016/17.
Nominations for the committee positions must be received by midnight on Wednesday, June 29.
The decision to hold the AGM at the gallery was taken after it became apparent that there was not a suitable car manufacturer event available to the whole membership. More details about The Swift Gallery can be found at www.swiftgallery.co.uk
