Award-winning automotive journalist, editor, author and lecturer specialising in classic cars and automotive and motor sport technology. Returned to full-time freelance media work in 2026 after nearly 20 years as part-time lead tutor on Coventry University’s automotive journalism Masters course.

Guild of Motoring Writers chairman 2016-18, MGMW chairman since 2022. Also a member of the Society of Authors. Andrew edits Race Engine Technology magazine and the Race Engine Log email newsletter, co-edits The E-type Magazine, and contributes to Octane and Classic Cars among other titles.
